Local IT Recycling Company Helps Bolton Council Make Significant Savings
Bolton Council has found an innovative way to not only save money, but also to generate revenue from obsolete ICT equipment.
Bolton based IT recycling company, Concept Management was successfully awarded the contract to remove obsolete, redundant ICT equipment from Bolton Council just under three years ago. Since that time, cost savings in excess of £80,000 have been achieved.
Councillor Cliff Morris, Leader of Bolton Council said: “We are pleased to be able to work with a local business to both achieve savings and also recycle our old equipment. Concept Management not only take the equipment away for free, but also pay us for taking it away.”
Concept Management began in 2007 as a small company with big ideas. They are now recognised throughout the UK as the leading provider of electronic reuse and recycling services and one of the biggest providers to the NHS nationally, having successfully secured a place on an NHS national framework agreement.
