The two day audit was completed on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th April by Harry Mackie, the BSI auditor and Concept was supported by our consultants, John Keen of RKMS

This audit was completed remotely, via Microsoft Teams and over two countries.

So a special thankyou to Harry and John and to everyone’s patience whilst trying to navigate through the Coronavirus and the challenges it has presented.

Mark Wilding says that “This is testament to all the hard work from all our staff to achieve another industry accreditation and the reason we do these is to offer our client’s, complete peace of mind knowing that all our processes are independently audited to a particular standard and none higher than the British Standards or UKAS Accredited ISO Standards”

ISO 14001 improves environmental performance

When we formalised our environmental management system (EMS), ISO 14001, BSI certification delivered more than regulatory compliance it delivered the ability to meet our customer and supplier requirements.

ISO 14001 helps make our day to day operations more sustainable. Sustainability can ultimately save money, improve brand reputation, engage employees and build resilience against uncertainty as well as the ability to rapidly adapt to change.

ISO 14001 standard provides us guidance on how to consider multiple aspects of our business procurement, storage, distribution, product development, manufacturing, etc.- so that it reduces its impact on the environment.

It drives us to evaluate how we manage our standard protocols, procedures, emergency response, customer expectations, stakeholders and our relationship with our local community.
